Erin Cartee works in borosilicate glass from her studio in Asheville, North Carolina. Since 1999 she has shaped flame-worked pendants, opals, fumed surfaces, and sculptural objects drawn from nature, cosmic imagery, and the optical qualities of glass itself.

Her practice centers on one-of-one works — each piece formed at the torch, finished by hand, and intended for collectors who value material depth and optical presence.
